We got Sod!!

We finally got sod! Almost 1 1/2 months after moving into the house - we finally have some grass. It was an interesting time living with a dirty yard. As you could imagine - our shoes were constantly dirty/muddy, garage stayed a mess and even coming into the house - it was hard to not have a dirty, dusty mess. Little man Jase was the typical boy - he wanted to play in the dirt all the time and loved it. We were finally able to get our dogs and they seemed excited to be in the new house. We made it and survived. Now - it's going to take a little time to get the grass to root, grow and look nice & green. As you will see - the grass really gave the house a different look.

We are in and mostly settled!

I can't believe the time has come! We have been in our new home for a little over 2 weeks now. It's been a LOT of work. We are mostly settled - just a few things to finish up. As you will see - we still do not have grass or landscaping. We hope to have grass, plants and trees this week sometime. We will share those pics as it occurs. Here are a lot of pics of the house. We are so blessed - can't wait to see what God has planned for our new home.

2 more weeks!!!!

We are SO excited to say we have our closing date set for April 29th! House is coming along quickly. It's hard to imagine everything will be done within the next 2 weeks. Here are some pics of the exterior and yard progress.

Stucco has been put on - this color will darken within the next few days to match our siding.

Probably about 60 loads of dirt were brought in.

The latest progress!

House is still coming along. Here are some pics from last week. A lot has changed since then. We will be out to the house today and get more pictures for this week. We are still being told we should close at the end of this month - only 2 1/2 weeks!!! WHAT?!?!?! (smile)

Changes coming fast!

Changes are happening overtime we go to house. The stucco process is in the works, coins & dryvets are on, kitchen & bathroom cabinets are installed, granite countertops are in and some lighting has been installed as well. We have been told we more than likely will close in ONE MONTH!!! Can we say....YEAH!?!?! Trim, paint, hardwood floors and ceramics floors will be in the works next week.
