The block has been laid!

It sure has seemed like forever since any progress has been made to the house but that would be thanks to good ol' Columbus weather. We finally stopped by the house today and was very surprised at the work that had been done today. The block has been laid. The next step is to do the plumbing, concrete the basement and weather proofing. Within weeks the framing should begin!

Front of the house (thank God it won't always look this nice! haha)
Our three car garage will be on the left.

Looking in on the basement. Great room and kitchen will be
above the basement on the right.

The 3 car garage.

This will be an entrance to the family room from our back yard.

The foyer and Rob's office.

The Big Day!!!

The day we've been waiting on finally came....they started digging for our new home! We decided to go to the property, let Jase cut the ribbon and see the process get rolling. Granna & Poppa came up to share the big day with us. Jase LOVED the big "bow-bow" as you will see in the pictures we've shared. We hope to take pictures and share our build process with those of you who want to share in our excitement! Thanks to God for He is why this is happening....we are so blessed and hope our home is used for His purpose.

Off to see our journey begin. Jase was prepared
with his "bow-bow" sweatshirt.

The view going down to our neighborhood.
It sits in the valley and we love it.

The big hole...where our home will sit before long!

Jase cuts the ribbon!

Little man in action....he was loving it.

Looking like a real man on the job.

We even got to sit in the "bow-bow" driver seat.

Can't get enough "bow-bow" pictures.

Watch out - little man behind the wheel.

This will all look very different soon.....
